Terms of service

The agreement between Centrixa and the businesses that use it: the service, subscription and payment, your data, and ending the subscription.

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between Centrixa ("Centrixa", "we") and the business that uses Centrixa ("you"). By creating an account or using Centrixa, you agree to them on behalf of your business. If you don't agree, please don't use Centrixa.

Anything we agree with you in writing, such as a quote or a proposal, applies together with these terms. If they conflict, the written agreement wins for that point.

The service

Centrixa is business software used in a web browser. It includes the features of the plan you choose. We improve Centrixa regularly; features may change, and we will tell you before removing something you rely on. Features shown as "coming soon" are plans, not promises, and are not part of your subscription until they are released.

You need a working internet connection and a supported browser (such as a recent Google Chrome) to use Centrixa.

Your account and users

  • The account owner controls who has access and what each user can do. You are responsible for what your users do in your account.
  • Keep passwords private. Tell us at once if you think someone has used your account without permission.
  • Give us correct details about your business and keep them up to date.

Demos and trials

Demos are free and without obligation. Any trial period, and what happens at its end, will be agreed with you in writing.

Subscription and payment

  • Centrixa is a monthly subscription. The price for your business is set out in your quote or invoice, in Pakistani rupees.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance for each month. Each invoice shows its due date.
  • One-time work, such as setup, data import, training or customisation, is charged as quoted.
  • Applicable taxes are added where required.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing month.

Late payment

  • If an invoice is not paid by its due date, we will remind you.
  • If it is still unpaid 15 days after the due date, your account becomes read-only: you and your users can still sign in, view, print and export your data, but cannot record new transactions until the invoice is paid.
  • Paying the invoice in full restores normal use straight away.
  • If payment is still not made after a further period, we may suspend the account after giving you written notice. Your data is kept and can be exported as described under "Ending your subscription".

Your data

  • Your business data belongs to you. You can export it at any time.
  • You allow us to store, process and back up your data only so that we can provide Centrixa to you, as described in our privacy policy.
  • You are responsible for having the right to record the information you enter, including your customers' personal details, and for getting their permission before sending them messages through Centrixa.
  • You remain responsible for your own tax filings and legal records. Centrixa helps you keep them, but it is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Check important figures before relying on them.

Fair use

You agree not to:

  • use Centrixa for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
  • try to reach other businesses' data, test or break our security, or interfere with the service;
  • copy, resell or rent Centrixa to others without our written agreement;
  • copy the software or try to extract its source code;
  • overload the service, for example with automated requests.

We may suspend access that puts Centrixa or other businesses at risk, and will tell you why.

Customisation work

Customisation is done under a written proposal that sets out the scope, price and timeline. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the software we build remains part of Centrixa and may be offered to others, while your data, documents and content remain yours.

Availability and support

We work to keep Centrixa available at all times, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance, internet problems or events outside our control. We plan maintenance for quiet hours where we can. Support is provided by WhatsApp, phone and email.

Ending your subscription

  • You may cancel at any time by telling us before your next billing month starts. Fees already paid are not refunded for part months, unless we agree otherwise.
  • We may end the agreement if you seriously break these terms, after giving you notice and a chance to fix the problem where possible.
  • After your subscription ends, your account stays available read-only for 30 days so you can export your data. We then delete it as described in our privacy policy.

Limits of our responsibility

We provide Centrixa with care and skill. As far as the law allows:

  • we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business opportunities;
  • our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about significant changes at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Centrixa after that, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts at Lahore have jurisdiction over any dispute. We will always try to resolve a problem with you directly first.
