Do I still need an accountant?

Centrixa keeps the books for you day to day. Many businesses still have an accountant for tax returns and advice; they get proper ledgers and reports from Centrixa instead of a box of bills.

Can I change the chart of accounts?

Yes. A ready-made chart is set up for you; add, rename or move accounts whenever you like.

Can I enter my opening balances?

Yes. Enter what you have in cash and bank, what customers owe and what you owe on the day you start, and carry on from there.

Does it handle sales tax?

Yes. Sales tax on purchases and sales is worked out month by month, with what is due and a record of what you paid. Withholding tax on payments and receipts is tracked too.
